Swim Spas
If you want a space-saving alternative to a traditional inground pool, a swim spa may be for you. Swim spas are smaller inset pools with a current for swimming laps and a built-in spa. Swim spas are low maintenance and less expensive than custom pools. They are also easier and less expensive to heat, extending your swimming season by months. If a swim spa is the right fit for you, Ventures can help integrate it into your space. On average, a full project that includes a custom gunite pool/spa, patio, and surrounding landscape can easily take 3-6 months to complete. Like everything in Michigan, the time of year and weather can also have a big impact on the overall timeline. Yes, permits are almost always required to build or install any pool in Michigan. We have extensive experience working with Building Departments across Southeast Michigan and are familiar with local building codes.
