A Grand Pool and Striking Pavilion: The Unforgettable Nine Project

The Nine project is a true testament to the power of transformation. What began as a traditional brick exterior and a dated backyard has been completely reimagined into a stunning modern oasis. After painting the home’s brick exterior white, the homeowners entrusted Ventures to redesign the entire property, bringing new life to every corner. From the grand 18' x 55' gunite pool with floating steppers and expansive patio, to the show-stopping pavilion with its custom fire table and elegant landscaping, the transformation is nothing short of remarkable. This project seamlessly blends bold design with timeless elements, creating an outdoor space that feels both modern and inviting.

The Pool and Spa: A Stunning, Expansive Design

The heart of the Nine project is its oversized gunite pool, an 18’ x 55’ expanse of water that offers both a sense of grandeur and understated elegance. This rectangular pool is designed for large gatherings or serene family swims, with ample space for relaxation or play. The 18’ x 7.5’ spa, separated from the pool by sleek floating steppers, offers a tranquil escape that can comfortably seat more than a dozen people. Whether lounging by the water’s edge or diving in from the pool’s diving board, the expansive design caters to every mood and occasion.

Surrounding the pool is a large, clean patio crafted from Techo Bloc Everest pavers in a greyed nickel finish. The pavers are laid in a classic running bond pattern, providing a minimalist backdrop that contrasts beautifully with the property’s lush landscaping and bold pavilion. The patio area has been thoughtfully arranged to accommodate multiple seating options, including eight chaise lounge chairs, two large day beds, and two high-top tables, providing plenty of space for family and friends to gather. A 10-foot-long gas-fueled fire pit, surrounded by eight cozy lounge chairs, anchors the outdoor lounging area, creating a welcoming space for evenings spent under the stars.

The Pavilion: A Striking Modern Centerpiece

While the pool is a showstopper, the pavilion at Nine is undoubtedly the crown jewel of this outdoor haven. Bold, modern, and elegant, the custom shade structure blends sleek design with sophisticated functionality. It features a stunning outdoor kitchen equipped with a built-in grill, refrigeration, and a champagne cart. The kitchen island, topped with bold black and white marbled granite countertops, offers a visual contrast that feels both contemporary and luxurious.

However, the true focal point of the pavilion is the custom-made 10-seat granite fire table with a waterfall edge, designed by Ventures. This T-shaped table is not just a visual marvel; it is a testament to precision craftsmanship. Built from house brick and fitted with a custom burner recessed into the granite, the table connects seamlessly to the adjacent fireplace beneath a mounted all-weather TV. The fireplace and fire table share a single, continuous gas burner, creating an unbroken line of fire that extends across the seating area, adding both warmth and an awe-inspiring visual effect. The fire glass, contained within the granite surround, adds a further layer of sophistication, shimmering in the glow of the fire as it dances along the length of the table.

At the far side of the pavilion, two hanging basket chairs add a fun and functional design element. The pavilion’s tongue-and-groove ceiling, equipped with recessed lighting, ceiling fan, a chandelier, and a speaker system, ensures that comfort and ambiance are never in short supply.

Hardscaping and Landscaping: A Modern Masterpiece

The minimalism of the Techo Bloc Everest pavers used throughout the property is complemented by the exquisite landscaping. Lush hydrangeas, sculpted boxwood hedges, and emerald green arborvitae create a sense of privacy and natural beauty, while stately columnar oaks provide an elegant backdrop to the space. The clean, simple lines of the hardscaping and the curated greenery combine to create a serene, balanced environment that feels timeless and mature.

At the front of the property, the grand entrance provides a striking first impression. A beautifully landscaped walkway, crafted from Techo Bloc Blu 60 pavers in onyx black with an Everest border, guides visitors to the front door. It’s a stunning introduction to the elegance that lies beyond.

Nighttime Transformation: The Magic of Lighting

Though the Nine project is beautiful during the day, it is at night when the space truly comes alive. The pool glows a rich aqua blue, its illumination casting a serene and captivating light across the patio. Majestic landscape lighting highlights the property’s features, from the grand entrance to the sculpted hedges and towering oaks. In-paver lights sparkle across the patio, making the entire outdoor living space gleam with an enchanting brilliance. The glow of the fire pit and the custom fire table further elevate the atmosphere, making the Nine project a luxurious retreat, day or night.
