The Story
Sitting on a large lake frontage lot, this elegant craftsman style home was in need of more entertaining space. The client was hopeful to get the most amount of entertainment when their family and friends walk outside onto their patio. VENTURES was able to fit in many separate areas of entertaining, which allows for family and friends of all ages to always have something to do. This multi-level finished patio project space now offers outdoor cooking and dining, lounging, sun bathing, putt-putt golfing, pool lounging, swimming, and an outdoor fire pit. With such a great design, you can sit and relax in any of these areas and still catch an epic sunset. Sounds like such a perfect backyard resort!
The Design
This lake home has a vibe that is crisp and clean with light colored lines and simple touches of vibrant greens. The overall design has elements in it that mimic the home’s prominent arches and curves. With a mixture of curved landscape beds and square patio space, this featured project compliments the curves and squares in the design of the home. Light colored patio pavers were chosen to bring in unity to the crisp color of the home. With such a large space to work with, multiple patio levels were created in order to break up the entertaining space, which allows for the large space to be cozy and welcoming.
The Product
PAVILION : 23 X 15 covered pavilion with custom wainscoted header and columns. Stone kitchen created with house matching stone to hold grill, storage cabinets, and waste bin.
WALKWAY & PATIO PAVERS : Techo Bloc Travertina Raw, ivory, laid in a random pattern. Accent Techo Bloc Linea, chestnut brown.
RETAINING WALL RAISED BEDS & STEPS : House matching stone walls with Techo Bloc York caps, ivory.
POOL DECK : TimberTech Azek deck, weathered teak. Signature rail, black.
