ULTIMATE ENTERTAINMENT SPACE
Stunning Outdoor Living Space with Luxury Outdoor Kitchen, Custom Gunite Spa and Multiple Fire Features
The Story
With a family of five, it was important that this outdoors entertainment space had a mixture of both adult and kid fun incorporated into it. With a unique U-shaped space to work with, the large spa needed to be in the center of the space so that adults could see the children swimming from the kitchen, lounge space, and fire pit area. Adults can spend happy hours at the bar and in front of the fireplace, while the children spend time in the spa and roast marshmallows over the fire.
The Design
It’s safe to say that this VENTURES design nailed creating the ultimate entertainment space with this project. With the spa being the center of the design, it was natural that the other spaces were created to almost surround the spa. The first step out of the home opens up into a large outdoor kitchen/bar area. A view of a lounge and fireplace space that flows into the spa area can be seen from sitting at the bar. Past the pool, there’s a small patio where lounge chairs can go to enjoy the sites of guests swimming. Going beyond the lounge chair area opens up into a fire pit and bench area perfect for hanging out on cool summer nights.
Having the right color palette in any design can make or break a project. It’s important to have complimentary colors that offer a bit of contrast, which should all tie into the elegant architecture of the home. This design proves that blacks and whites are great complimentary colors. Bringing the red house brick into the landscaping creates an element of contrast of color and texture. Looking at this design, you would have never known that the home and outdoor entertainment space was created at two different times.
The Product
KITCHEN : Constructed with house brick and topped off with black granite. Houses a 40” grill, storage cabinets, a double fridge, and a pull out trash. Railing Trex Signature, black.
PATIO : Techo Bloc Blu Smooth laid in a random pattern, mixture of both shale grey and greyed nickel. Accent Techo Bloc Blu Smooth, onyx black. Inlays and kitchen patio Techo Bloc Para, mixture of both greyed nickel and onyx black.
FIREPLACE : Constructed with. Accent house brick.
FIREPIT, BENCH, STEPS: Constructed with house brick and topped off with Techo Bloc Raffinato caps, greyed nickel.
RETAINING WALL : Ledgerock, mocha.
SPA : Tile Mastertile. Caps Techo Bloc Raffinato, greyed nickel.
