The Hillshire project started with a beautiful house on a large untouched property which Ventures transformed with a custom deck, expansive patio, hot tub, basketball court, and more.
Ventures began with a custom deck off the second story of the house with a new entry off the turret. The glass railing gives the deck an elevated, modern feel. Three steps down are the beginning of a beautiful tri-level patio of Blu Slate Techo Bloc in a modular pattern. The long clean lines of the sailor border give a sophisticated finish to the patio and the accent in onyx black accentuates the stonework and the unique footprint of the house. The lower level patio features a fire pit, Jacuzzi, and basketball court surrounded by ledge rock retaining walls with foliage heavy landscaping of boxwood, dwarf spruce, hydrangea, hostas, and ornamental grasses.
The firepit and basketball court are prime examples of Venture’s master masonry. The ornate fire pit has a circle inset with a cobbled center and double sailer border with inner and outer accent rings of onyx black transitioning to the modular laid patio. The gorgeous basketball court is laid in sleek Blu Smooth pavers from Techo Bloc. A court with a view, it overlooks the retaining wall with ledge rock steps leading up to a grassy field and surrounding woods.
