The breadth of work on this project is truly impressive. Ventures transformed the lackluster yard of this Bloomfield Hills home into a haven of relaxation: sweeping stone patio, side-by-side pergola and pavilion, outdoor kitchen, bar and dining, gorgeous stone fountains, and winding paths through a landscape fit for royalty.
Following the ridgeline of the house, they extended the gable to create an attached pavilion. The pavilion covers a stunning outdoor lounge; a coffered ceiling with recessed lighting, a chandelier, overhead heaters, copper gutters, intricately laid pavers, and a majestic stone fountain create a refined atmosphere. Beside the pavilion is an attached pergola, providing partial shade to the outdoor kitchen and bar. The patio, laid in an intricate combination of modular and diamond patterns, with accent borders in slate grey, extends out to yet another lounge area surrounding a gas fire pit. The expansive patio is lined with a combination of stone retaining walls, ornamental statues, lavish planters overflowing with flowers, pillars, and a stone fountain.
This is only the beginning. As you step off the patio, you’ll find ledge rock steps leading you down to a beautiful decomposed granite path that wanders through incredible landscaping. Immaculate boxwood hedges create maize of garden beds laden with Annabella hydrangea, rose, catmint, and dwarf fountain grass. Crabapple, columnar oak, and magnolias ascend from the beds, and rows of evergreen and juniper line the property, providing privacy.
